The hall was erected next to the town’s moat between 1962 and 1965 by the graduated engineer Leo Kammel. It was festivelyopened on January the 8th 1965.
The building complex is a typical architectural representativeof the sixties and thus of historic importance. However, it is highly controversial, as it disturbs the ensemble of the historic Danube front.
